Tennis New Zealand is always open to enquiries from experienced coaches wishing to become Coach Developers. Coaches with a background that includes academic work (degrees, diplomas, and certificates), professional development experiences, coaching qualifications and credentials (ITF Level One or Equivalent minimum), and experience in teaching and facilitation will be considered for selection as a Coach Developer.

Tennis New Zealand takes all practicable steps to verify the suitability of individuals wishing to be involved in coach development opportunities, national programme delivery, or engaging directly with Tennis New Zealand as a performance/touring coach or support staff.
We are Tennis New Zealand Hot Shots coaches, so for our younger players we ensure they are playing with the correct sized racquets, balls and nets. The programme allows players to fit into the correct group based on ability, whilst it also maintains the flexibility to move players through the various levels as and when they begin to progress.

Alan Adair is a Cantabrian, a NZ age group champion, and has for many years been coaching at a high level in Germany. He has recently returned to Christchurch with his family.
